Investigating the effect of humble leadership on the Organizational Performance in Iran Insurance Company

Abstract

The present study is applied in terms of purpose, quantitative in terms of data and descriptive-survey in nature. The statistical population in this study is Iranian insurance branches in Isfahan. Data were collected using a researcher-made questionnaire whose validity and reliability were confirmed (Cronbach's alpha 0.83). For this purpose, 355 questionnaires were distributed among the employees of insurance branches in the form of 27 statistical units and after completing them, the data were analyzed using the partial least squares method of PLS-SEM structural equation model. The results show that modest leadership directly has a positive and significant effect on psychological empowerment, psychological security, innovative work behavior and creativity of employees and organizational performance. Also, psychological empowerment, psychological security, innovative work behavior and creativity of employees have had a positive and significant effect on the performance of the organization. Modest leadership through psychological empowerment, psychological security, innovative work behavior and employee creativity has also indirectly had a positive and significant effect on organizational performance.
